• An anonymous app user identifier generated on your device.
• Profile details you enter, such as name, relationship label, gender, birth date, birth time, country, city, and birth location details.
• Derived birth location details, such as latitude, longitude, and timezone, used to generate astrology readings.
• Device timezone used to calculate daily horoscope dates.
• Generated readings and horoscope results.
• Purchase and subscription status, entitlement state, product identifiers, and related billing metadata needed to unlock premium features. Payment card details are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not by Aster Vale.
• Ad diagnostics or ad event information used to understand whether ads load correctly.
• Advertising identifiers, app activity related to ad delivery, approximate location inferred from network information, device information, and consent or tracking choices processed by advertising partners, including Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network mediation, for ad serving, personalization where permitted, measurement, fraud prevention, and related purposes.

• To create, save, and display profiles.
• To generate profile readings, year-ahead outlooks, and daily horoscopes.
• To resolve birth locations and timezones.
• To operate, debug, secure, and improve the app.
• To manage subscriptions, purchases, and premium access.

Third-Party Services

Aster Vale may use these service providers:

• Convex for backend data storage and app functions.
• DeepSeek through an OpenAI-compatible API for generating astrology text from profile details.
• Open-Meteo geocoding for location and timezone lookup.
• RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management.
• Google AdMob and Google Mobile Ads SDK for advertising, ad measurement, fraud prevention, and consent tooling.
• Meta Audience Network through AdMob mediation for advertising demand.
• Apple App Store and Google Play services for app distribution, crash reporting, analytics, billing, or platform operations where applicable.

Advertising And Consent

Aster Vale displays bottom banner ads, native ad cards, and limited interstitial ads after useful app content is available. Advertising partners may process device identifiers, ad interactions, approximate location inferred from network information, and related data for ad delivery, personalization where permitted, measurement, fraud prevention, and compliance.

On iOS, personalized advertising that uses Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) is used only after you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you deny or restrict tracking permission, Aster Vale can still show ads, but the IDFA is not used by the app for personalized ad tracking. On Android, ads may use the Android advertising ID where available and permitted by your device settings.

In regions where consent is required, Aster Vale uses Google's consent tools to request and manage advertising consent. Where available, the app also provides a privacy choices entry point so you can update ad consent choices for that device.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your birth profiles or readings for money. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the app, generate readings, manage purchases, provide ads, secure the service, comply with law, or respond to user requests. Some advertising disclosures may be considered "sharing" for targeted advertising under privacy laws. You can use the app's consent controls, iOS tracking permission, Android advertising ID settings, and other platform privacy settings to manage those choices where available.

Data Retention

We keep profile and reading data while needed to provide the app experience, unless deletion is requested or retention is required for legitimate operational, security, billing, fraud prevention, or legal reasons. Advertising, store, and payment partners may retain their own records according to their policies and legal obligations.

Data Deletion Requests

You may delete your app data from the Aster Vale app by opening Settings and choosing Delete my data. You may also request deletion by contacting [email protected]. Because Aster Vale currently uses anonymous app profiles rather than account login, email requests may require information from your device or app profile to locate the correct records.

Deleting app data from Aster Vale does not automatically delete records held independently by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, advertising partners, or other third-party services. You may need to use those services' privacy controls for data they independently process.

Your Choices And Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to certain processing of your information. You may also have the right to opt out of certain targeted advertising or sharing. To make a request, contact us using the email below.

You can also manage ad tracking choices through iOS App Tracking Transparency settings, Android advertising ID settings, and any ad privacy choices shown inside the app.

International Processing

Aster Vale and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. We use service providers to host, process, analyze, and secure the app, and those providers may process data under their own legal and security controls.

Children

Aster Vale is not designed for children and should not be used by children without appropriate parental or guardian involvement. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Entertainment-Only Content

Astrology readings and horoscopes are provided for entertainment and personal reflection. They are not medical, legal, financial, mental health, or professional advice.
